Photo catch-up

Nico with his friend, black bird, who flew the coop after doing a bit of recuperating at Nico's house.

Since I don't have a back yard anymore and can't actually hang bird feeders on my new balcony, Nico took temporary custody of my feeders. This was back in January. Actually, the reddish colored one is the one I made him at Blixembosch.

Wanted to post this especially for my folks who sent this shower curtain to us for Christmas. It was made for the colors in his shower room and Nico made a great rod especially for it.

On the day of my birthday, Nico left these orchid flowers on my dining table. They are still blooming.

The box of goodies my folks sent for my birthday back in February. Included long underwear, marshmallow puffs, book Three Cups of Tea, purple scarf and gloves. And, of course, some beef jerky for Nico.

The little lemon tree Nico got me for my birthday. Remind me to show you the orange tree. Though I am happy to have these new friends, I don't really think they are going to produce much - it's like having citrus trees in Illinois.

  1. Awesome - I would LOVE to have a lemon tree. Ask Nico if Georgia would be good for that and if that tree needs full sun we are in business, 'cause I got NOTHIN' but in my yard! How did he get that bird to sit on his finger btw? Is he like Aquaman but without being underwater ;)? Those orchids are beautiful too… Hey did you paint your bathroom? Looking forward to seeing ya soon!

  2. Thanks for sharing the photos! Those orchids are gorgeous! I can't keep them alive past a week. Well...I actually kept my orchid plant alive, it just won't bloom. I've been tempted to get a lemon tree myself. They're so pretty. :)
