Two left feet

Yesterday, I went by Livit for a meeting, the people who are making my new plastic brace (with bright colors, flowers and lady bugs). Martin the brace-maker took me into an exam room and proudly revealed the brace - patterned perfectly for a 9-year-old girl. (That's not the funny part.) As I removed my current brace from my right shoe, I get a closer look at the new brace and say, "that's for a left foot."

I begin to laugh uproareously while Martin, beyond embarassed, puts face in hands then quietly apologizes. He assures me that I'll still have my brace in time for vacation. Question is, will I have it in time to find matching shoes?

That four letter word

Also, those still curious as to when Philips Design is going to re-enter my routine, it is just a matter of weeks, possibly days. It has been a lot of patient waiting but finally we are making what feels like swift headway in the direction of a return. After tomorrow, I will be one more telco closer.

  1. When you say "matching shoes"--- you're not referring to shoes with ladybugs and flowers, are you? lol... I can't recall seeing you dance ever, so I didn't realize you had two left feet. You hide it very well. :)
