Officially a cyclist again!

Wednesday, as scheduled, Welzorg came by and brought a bright red, shiny new lig fiets. The back two wheels just squeak through my storage room door. Whew! It has five gears, an odometer, nighttime lights, a clamp for holding my cane or Nordic sticks, a basket on back and a front wheel lock. It's the fanciest bike I ever had, for sure.

Friday, I tugged it out of the storage room and rode it to the office in the center. When we get time next week, Nico and I will take some photos and a video.

Had my usual Thursday therapy day and said good-bye to Nick, my Thursday cycling and sports buddy. What a great and funny guy. We always had lots of laughs in our hour together. So many people like Nick will be exiting my life in the coming days and what positive impacts they have made on me in the past year.
