Had another good day in therapy. Painting, archery and fitness. I was a bit tired (again) and took a nap after lunch though probably I could have pressed on.
I decided today that my painting was finished and went on to choose the subject of the next one. Being that I want these paintings to be a bit of a surprise, I'm unable to describe them or show photos of them. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait.
And, boy, did I do well in archery today, as well as last week. I can't tell you the exact formula for my success except practice makes perfect. This week as well as last, I felt that time away from the game had helped the "form" sink a bit deeper into my bones. So that now when I pick up the bow, I can pull back with more speed, stand with more confident and pull back with more consistency. What I will do with this sport, I have no idea but what a gas to see improvement.
The sun is shining and clouds keep the temperature down though it is up to 78 degrees F, warmer than it has been. Maybe now my tomatoes will get going.
Speaking of get go, I've been waiting for my energy to get back up to pre-vacation level. I can't believe all that inactivity put me in such a state of lethargy. Perhaps it's the added mental pressure I'm beginning to feel from the impending lifestyle change - namely the addition of work, the reduction of therapeutic fun and the loss I will inevitably feel as I transition away from Blixembosch which has been such a positive support these past nine months. I guess I'll just have to surround myself with only positive people where I'm heading and, of course, continue to stay positive myself!
