Saturday - spoiled rotten

My friend, Juul, will be picking me up before noon for my appointment at the hair salon. I felt compelled to switch salons as my normal hair dresser isn't working on Saturdays anymore and doesn't have time to come out to Blixembosch to work his usual magic on me.
At the new salon, they can do eyebrows in addition to hair, make-up, and chair massage. In other words, they specialize in spoiling women. Meg Ryan's example hair style here is what I'm thinking for length. Shorter, spunkier.
Afterwards, Juul will drop me off at Nico's, saving him some time and gasoline. We'll probably go to my house when he comes home from work. This is so we can start planning how we're going to prep my stuff for the move. Whoopee.
Sunday - planning
We'll be spending most of the day either talking about how we're going to move my stuff or gathering my stuff into their respective piles to be packed.
If you're reading this post and you're up for helping pack one Saturday between now and December 1, let me know. I'm sure we can use the help. Only Nederland dwellers need apply.
Work on the rise

Starting next week, my physical activities will increase. I'll start fitness (i.e. working with weights to build muscle) and swimming. Over the coming weeks, I can look forward to a full schedule every day. Another whoopee.
I'm most looking forward to fitness as I want to get my body in the best shape it can be, strength-wise, to be able to handle my condition as I rehabilitate. I'm thinking Tina Turner 1980s vs. the Governator. No need to hurt anyone.
I'm catching up today and giggled a bit when I saw the artwork. Don't get me wrong, it's great! The giggle comes from some of your first pieces of art. You know the doodles completed on church bulletins. You'll be happy to know that I still have several!!

You are one of those people who saved my church drawings! Cool. That does make me happy ;)
ReplyDeleteTreina's not the only one who has kept your drawings. I still have the business card you made when you sold yearbook ads! I went to Rindy O.'s wedding today and visited with Crystal, Richard (of course), M. Mangan, Larry and Judy (Jenny just had a baby girl the 20th), Joe and Debbie, and more. The church was packed. Keep your spirits high and take your time moving. It's a pain! DF
