A portrait of Kristal's family: Henk, Dewi, Colin. That's Kristal and me smiling on the right.

Their great little dog, Action. He's a border collie, active and well behaved. He totally just chilled out until the 'boss' came home. Then, he couldn't get enough of chasing the ball.

Kristal and me playing our old stand-by, Triominoes.

Manna or something like that offered as a snack. Complete sugar and completely not for me.

Action fit nicely on Nico's lap.

What you see here is 1200 grams of black berries, 700 of which went in the freezer for future pies. We picked them this morning in our newly discovered black berry garden across from our doggie walking path.

The custard pie I made today. Yes, it's yummy. Thanks, mom, for the quick crust recipe. Worked like a charm.
The pie looks WONDERFUL!! I can almost taste it. Glad you enjoyed your friend. Love & Prayers. Dale & Nancy
ReplyDeleteAction looks like my very first dog, Buster. Looks like you had a nice time. I'm envious of the custard pie-- my grandma used to make it with black raspberries, which you just can't get around here. When I make it, I mix raspberries and blackberries. Yum!
