Before I let another moment pass

I want to update you on all the goings on here.
  • Spring is on the way - temperatures were in the 60s yesterday, a first this year.
  • My work hours have increased to 16 per week. Each time it is raised in two hour increments I wonder how I will manage.
  • I just had an amazing visit with an old friend - I mean so long ago that I couldn't remember her well beyond the fact that she liked horses and Star Wars when we were in second grade. More on that tomorrow, including photos.
  • Nico's work has shot off the charts in the past couple weeks. We've had an unusually extended winter including lots of snow. He told me just yesterday he's already started to stress out. Careful what you wish for...
  • Had a session with one of the music gals yesterday. The third wheel has been dropped so it's just she and I. We met at my apartment and had a good time reconnecting and playing.
  • Finished reading Edgar Sawtelle. Wow, what a great work of fiction. It's been so long since I've read a novel - what a great piece of art.
  • I hope to nail down some U.S. travel plans soon though I have decided to wait in making concrete plans until I get a clear picture of work futures. Will keep you posted.
Finally birthday shoutouts, some long overdue . Emma and Darrin H., Adrian M and my mom, who celebrated again yesterday by going cavorting with her gal pals. Hope you commemorated your days well and were surrounded by those who love you.

Well, that's all for now. More tomorrow or Sunday. If you're still there, hugs!
