Going on holiday

Yes, we're headed north this weekend. Not far, just a couple hours by car, in caravan with Nico's parents and brother, Eddie. Nico's parents want to celebrate their birthdays this year in a vacation house with their kids... and me.

Semi-planned activities so far include stoking a fire, eating 'Bruins' style (whatever may come), a zoo, dinner at a pancake and the Dutch hunebedden ('megalithic monuments' like the one pictured above). They also have a pool and a fitness center, maybe even a sauna. But we'll see what occurs.

We'll be back on Monday and back to the regular schedule (which I also need to update you on) Tuesday. Check it out next week for photos and stories from the weekend. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
