I mean tired, wiped out, exhausted, pooped. For the first time in weeks, it seems I've met another challenge to my energy level - fitness. I mean, I didn't think I was finished but I was beginning to think my energy level had no other challenges to meet.
But it should come as no surprise. I've done no aerobic activity for months and I haven't been in a gym for ages. One thing I said at the start of this recovery process is that I want to get in the best shape of my life so I can handle any disabilities I end up with. I see a long road ahead with lots of rest stops. But I also see light ahead. Hindsight shows me that once I get over the initial introduction of a new activity, my energy level rises and I'm better than ever. Until then, sleep, precious, sleep.
And just wait until wheelchair volleyball starts...ugh.
Slow and steady girl - slow and steady!
