Hi to my friends and family .
Thank you for all of you encouraging words. Typing words like encouraging is exhausting but at least i can still think of the word and spell it correctly. There are many things to be grateful for and I'm grateful when I can recall them during the tough moments.
Isn't Suzanne doing a superwoman job with this site? She has been happy to create and manage this blog for me. I don't have the energy yet to manage do much with the computer yet so she'll be Mother Manager for a while I think.
As you've read, it seems little miracles keep happening with my mind and body a lot. I learn something new and see improvements to my energy level, typing speed, patience with progress, and capacity to let people help me balanced with growing independance.
Finally, I do believe that what has occured cannot be completely understood - either physically or spiritually. I have been amazed at my positive attitude which I can attribute only to my conscience reconnection with the grace that is wihin us all. This outlook has saved me countless tears and useless questions like "why me"? I know "why me". "Because". I'll know the rest at a later date :)
I believe I will recover as I will - with Grace, Persistence and friends like you. Thanks also to my man, Nico, and daily calls from my folks.
Ciao for now,
Xoxo - Rhonda
Hey Girl-
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you've got such a positive attitude. People with positive, accepting attitudes heal more fully and more quickly-- take it from me-- I'm a professional and know these things. ;) I finally got a calling card to call you-- now I just need to coordinate a land line and the appropriate time to call!! I'll talk to you soon! Love you!
Rhonda,

Woo-hoo! I know you are frustrated, but you are recovering faster than I imagined. I guess I should have known that a grrrrl like you would dive into rehabilitation headfirst!
ReplyDeleteYou've got my number, so give me a ring anytime you feel like chatting, day or night. Elli and I need to get down there to see you soon (druk, druk, druk.) Maybe we can take you and Nico out for a good meal when you're up for it?
Mucho good thoughts - Clay
Rhonda, I am finally catching up on your blog entries (thanks to Suzanne). I can feel all the friendship, warmth and caring that is surrounding you during this time -- it's so present, even when viewed through this cold machine they call a COM-POO-TER. Keep on keepin' on -- and don't be surprised to find out that people are taking bets on how quickly you can kick ass and take names (OK, is that inappropriate?)
ReplyDeleteAlex (at PD atlanta, in case you have forgotten!)
